Curafas Incorporated is a wholly owned U.S. company, formed in 1990 to develop and distribute pharmaceutical products to its own
formulations. These products are based on a unique amino acid-vitamin complex that has remarkable healing properties.
The products are manufactured, marketed, and sold in the U.S.A. as "over-the-counter drugs" (O.T.C) and as such are non-prescription items. To comply with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (F.D.A.) requirements, all products contain active ingredients, approved for the specific applications.
The base formulation was developed to provide a topical treatment for dry skin in humans. The concept to overcome this extensive problem was to formulate a cream that would promote healing by the provision of essential nutrients and moisturizing agents directly to the traumatized area, thus overcoming delays caused by micro-circulatory failure resulting from skin injury. The amino aid complex proved successful in supplementing and encouraging natural regeneration of the skin, with reports claiming that a range of skin conditions responded, including burns, sunburn, cold sores, cuts, abrasions, and dermatitis.
Following reports that the product was effective in the treatment of similar conditions in animals Dermafas Veterinary Cream was developed specifically to promote wound healing in all animals.
